Jesse Jantzen is the founder of Skylar James Capital which is a Multi-Strategy Family office.  He was a Portfolio Manager at Clearview Capital Management prior, over-seeing the firms Long/Short Equity strategy. He has also held jobs at Perella Weinberg Partners, W Holding Company LLC and as an assistant coach for Harvard University.  Jesse currently sits on the Board of the Fetal center for the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) in which he has been crucial in fundraising for the Hospitals fetal center, allergy, cardiac and most recently the cure for Sickle Cell anemia.  Jesse helps host an annual “All in For Kids” Celebrity Poker event for the Hospital which has raised over $7 million over the past 8 years during the single day event.  He also sits on the Board of the Harvard Varsity Club where he provides input, funding and advice for current and former Harvard athletes in order to grow and improve the community.  Jesse just finished a campaign in which he helped to raise $6.5 million in private funding for a standalone wrestling facility at Harvard University as well as the endowment of a Harvard Wrestling assistant coaching position in order to solidify the programs standing amongst University athletics.  He and his family also endowed the Harvard Wrestling Hardest worker award in honor of his late Father, Don Jantzen, beginning with a $100k endowment fund. 
 
Jesse received a B.S. in Sociology from Harvard University in 2004.  He was a 3x All-American and 2004 National Champion/Outstanding wrestler award winner.  In 2005 Jesse won a World Championship at the University World Games in Izmir, Turkey in Freestyle wrestling at 66kg.  He is the most decorated Harvard Wrestler in history and was a 2004 Bingham Award winner for Harvard’s best athlete.  Jesse competed in the 2008 Olympic Trials but fell short of his goal of making the Beijing Olympics.  Jesse is a member of both the EIWA Hall of Fame and Suffolk County Hall of fame. 
 
Jesse has a strong passion for film as well and started a small production company where he plans to continue to deliver powerful messages through story telling.
 
He was a graduate of Shoreham Wading River High School.  He was the first 4x State Champion and 6x state place winner in New York State wrestling. He is still the only 4x single state champion in New York history, was a 3x High School All-American and 2x National Champion/Outstanding Wrestler award winner.  In 2000 he was the Asics High School Wrestler of the Year.
 
Jesse lives and works in downtown Manhattan and has passion for Finance, Film, Health/Fitness, Travel, Sports and Philanthropy.
