Mike Shaffer is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Phillips Van Heusen. Based in New York City, he oversees the areas of Treasury, Corporate Finance, Information Technology, Global Human Rights, and Logistics Services.
Mike joined PVH in 1990, and has held numerous positions in the company’s Wholesale and Retail divisions, as well as several corporate functions within PVH. He has more than 20 years of diverse financial management and executive leadership experience in the apparel and financial industries. Prior to PVH, Mike held a position in the Retail Audit Department of Deloitte & Touche.
Mike has taken a lead role in PVH acquisitions such as Arrow, Superba Neckwear, Calvin Klein, and Tommy Hilfiger. He has led the company on major financial diligence and operational diligence projections both domestically and internationally. Mike has also headed up the integration of these acquisitions into the PVH operating platforms.
A graduate of George Washington University in Washington, D.C., Mike earned a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and he is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New Jersey.
