Students Jog around mat and perform various motions as instructed by the coach. The video demonstrates various motions that can be included in a dynamic warmup such as Jogging, Forward and Backward rolls, Frog Jumps, Crab Walk, Bear Crawls, Shuffle, Skipping, Sprints, Shots etc. Be creative!

Each SA has a flag (folded paper towel) hanging out of sock. SA’s face off one on one GOAL = SA’s move in stance and try to pull out other SA’s flag without having their own taken. 
 
CHANGE THE RULES – no attacking the legs / mat wrestling. Wrestlers have to say on feed.
GOAL = lots of movements and FAKES.

Start with one person flat on the mat with opponent on top. GOAL = bottom person builds base and escapes.
 
Rotation = Top to bottom to out to top (person on bottom sits out after first period, person that was sitting out comes in on top, and person that was on top moves to bottom position.

Game 
Steel The Bacon
Number the wrestling in pairs by size and assign them a number. For example the two smallest kids on the team will be number 1 with one going to team A and one going to team B.   The two teams line up on hands and knees facing each other from across the  mat. 
Using a towel as the “bacon” the coach yells a number. When a wrestler’s number is called they have to crawl as fast as they can to the middle of the mat to try to grab the bacon and bring it back to their side of the mat. The coach can call more than one number at a time, but the bacon must be brought (it can’t be passed).

NOTE = After sprawl, verbal cues to CIRCLE back to feet, not just stand up. 
1) Have wrestlers get in a good stance
2) On the whistle they move (MOTION) in their stance
3) Every five to ten seconds yell “shot”  or “sprawl” and the wrestlers does the attack step/ sprawl, back to good stance
4) Include Double Leg Attack Step, Sprawl, and Single Leg in Stance and Motion
