TOE STEP
WITH partner
Goal = Stay in good stance and move feet
Wrestlers face each other in good stance. Purpose is to try to step on partners toes w/out partner stepping on yours.
Wrestlers keep score with how many times they stepped on partners toes. 
Go short goes 30s-45s and then pair winners with winners, losers with loser to try to pair with equally skilled

Exact same game at TOE STEP, BUT goal is to tag toe with hands, not step on toes with your own feet.

Each SA has a flag (folded paper towel) hanging out of sock. SA’s face off one on one GOAL = SA’s move in stance and try to pull out other SA’s flag without having their own taken. 
 
CHANGE THE RULES – no attacking the legs / mat wrestling. Wrestlers have to say on feed.
GOAL = lots of movements and FAKES.

Do 3 sets of Situation 1 @15-20 seconds per set, then have wrestlers switch top and bottom  position
THEN 3 sets of Situation 2 @ 15-20 seconds per set
 
Situation 1: One wrestler is flat on the mat, with the other wrestler on top.  Top wrestler does NOT yet have half nelson in. The goal of the top wrestler is to put in the half nelson and put the bottom wrestler on their back. Goal of bottom wrestlers is to not allow half in and to not get turned.
Situation 2: One wrestler starts with the half nelson applied. On the whistle the goal of the top wrestler is to put the bottom wrestler on their back. Goal of bottom wrestlers is to not get turned to back.
