Beat The Streets - New York City Wrestling


Dozens of students-athletes, parents, and fans from the New York City wrestling community greeted six members of the 2012 Men's Freestyle Wrestling Team and two members of the Women's Team as they came to the Manhattan Training Center on Wednesday, November 14th as part of the Olympic Wrestling Team Thanks America Tour. 

Led by Gold Medalists Jordan Burroughs and Jake Varner, Bronze Medalists Coleman Scott and Clarissa Chun also appeared. Other members of the 2012 Men's Freestyle Olympic Team who attended were Sam Hazewinkel, Jake Herbert, and Tervel Dlagnev, as well as Women’s Freestyle Olympian Kelsey Campbell. 2012 world champion Adeline Gray rounded out the current crop of wrestlers who came. They were all accompanied by Men's Head Freestyle Coach, Zeke Jones, and assistant coach Bill Zadick, both of whom were world champions in their own right.
