Beat The Streets - New York City Wrestling

The Big Apple Games Wrestling will end the summer season on Friday, August 4th with the Borough Battle Dual Meet Tournament at Seward Park Campus (350 Grand Street, Manhattan). Student-athletes are encouraged to form their own teams, but are also welcome to just show up, in which case they will be placed on a team. All team members must live in the same NYC Borough.

Weigh-ins will run from 8:30-9:00am. There is no preregistration. All competitors must arrive no later than 9am. The eleven weight classes will be: Strawweight (100-110), Flyweight (110-120), Bantamweight (120-130), Featherweight (130-140), Lightweight (140-150), Welterweight (150-160), Middleweight (160-170), Cruiserweight (170-185), Light Heavyweight (185-200), Heavyweight (200-220), Super Heavyweight (220-250). The duals will be conducted using the new Wrestling Eleven Rules in which wrestlers are permitted to bump UP or DOWN a weight class, use a five minute running match clock, award 1 point for pushouts, and make use of a thirty second escape clock.
