WHAT WE'RE WORKING TOWARD
Beat the Streets is prioritizing the advancement of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) by committing to the following actions:
-
Provide training to increase our staff's knowledge of DEI and its importance.
-
Increase the racial, ethnic and gender diversity of our Board of Directors to more accurately reflect the community we serve.
-
Prioritize hiring program alumni and staff of color to ensure our staff reflects the community we serve.
-
Ensure programs are based in equity by continuing to include student-athletes and alumni in program design, planning and implementation.
