Dean Colucci

Dean Colucci is a partner at the global law firm of Duane Morris LLP, where his practice focuses on corporate finance, capital markets, M&A and structured transactions.

Dean was formerly president and head of investment banking at the boutique bank, MLV & Co in New York. During his five-year tenure at MLV, he grew the bank’s top line revenues over 400 percent. In his experience as both a lawyer and an investment banker, Dean has led more than 250 capital markets transactions with an aggregate market value of more than $15 billion for companies in such diverse industries as energy, REITs and real estate, life sciences, financial services, transportation, technology, MLPs, and oil and gas. He has also been at the forefront of developing several at the market offering products for equity, debt, preferred and convertible securities.

Dean has a J.D. from the George Mason University School of Law, an M.I.A. in national security policy from the Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs, and B.A. in history from the College of Arts and Sciences at Cornell University. While at Cornell, Dean was a four-year member of the varsity wrestling team, where he won or placed in several intercollegiate tournaments. Attending Xaverian High School in Brooklyn, Dean was a New York State Private and Parochial School Champion.

Dean is currently also president the Summit Youth Wrestling Club in New Jersey. Outside of wrestling, over the last several years, Dean has been an active triathlon participant and is a two-time Ironman USA finisher. Dean and his wife, Anne Marie, live in Summit, New Jersey with their three sons; Dante, Christian, and Niccoló.
