2021 Academy Graduates to Start College
The class of 2021 sets off on a new journey
The second-ever graduating class of the Beat the Streets Academy is heading to college this fall.
The Academy, which aims to prepare students for success both on and off the mat, is a pioneer program that provides free-of-cost resources such as SAT prep, one-on-one tutoring, and Training Center practices. The program is open to dedicated middle school and high school student-athletes across all five boroughs, teaching the skills necessary to succeed in wrestling, graduate high school, and pursue post-secondary study.
Just like last year, this year’s Academy closed with a 100% high school graduation rate, with all seniors set to head to college.
Applications for the 2021-22 Academy will open Tuesday, September 7.
