Beat the Streets student-athletes compete at 2024 Columbus Day Duals

Seventeen Beat the Streets student-athletes competed in the Tyrant Wrestling Columbus Day Duals national competition this past weekend in Manheim, Pennsylvania.
The BTS boys team won two duals to take 29th place in the 32-team American bracket. Ismael Youla and Christopher Edel each led the BTS boys team with five wins. Youla's victories all came by fall, while Edel had two falls and wins by major decision and decision.
Firdavs Ahmadzoda (two falls, two technical falls) and Andre Gordon (two falls, one decision) also had multiple victories with four and three, respectively. Leon Seeram (fall) and Jonah Lugo (decision) added victories for the team.
Marielys Lugo and Ana Carolina Mindlin Lockard led the BTS girls with four victories apiece. Mindlin Lockard scored four falls, while Lugo had three falls and one technical fall. Belen Medina added two falls and Nicole Kremyanskiy had one fall.
